Ithaca, NY With the recent approval by the Tompkins County Legislature of transferring the county's revolving loan fund to Tompkins County Area Development (TCAD), an important collaborative step has been taken. This moves consolidates Tompkins County's economic development functions to TCAD, which acts as the community's lead economic development agency.
One important component that will make transitioning of the Revolving Loan Fund happen in a seamless fashion is the fact that Heather Filiberto, who ran the Fund while in the Tompkins County Planning Department, now is TCAD's Empire Zone Coordinator. In addition to her work with the Empire Zone, Ms. Filiberto will be in charge of the fund for TCAD.
Heather Filiberto is available for interviews. To set up an interview with Heather, please call 607-273-0005 or email heather@tcad.org.
