TCAD has assisted local companies for more than 35 years. As the lead economic development organization in Tompkins County, we've worked with companies of all shapes and sizes. In fact, many of our clients have benefited from our expertise in identifying and accessing local, state, regional and federal programs not once, but several times.

Though our primary mission is the creation and retention of quality private sector jobs, our mission has expanded in recent years to include several initiatives that further the goals and address the needs of local employers who are committed to staying in Tompkins County. Though perhaps not typical activities of other economic development organizations, TCAD is committed to ongoing involvement in these important endeavors.
